Client Communications

These options are for Pro and Advanced users only.


This guide covers changing the email address used when messages are to your clients and for editing notices displayed to your clients during the ordering process.

Communications with clients via e-mail and your shopping cart can be modified through these settings. You may choose to use a different e-mail address other than from Zenfolio when automated messages are e-mailed to your clients. You may also edit the messages that are used within the shopping cart for delayed fulfillment, vendor products, and self-fulfilled products.

Email Address for Client Communications

By default, any e-mails sent to your clients are sent from a Zenfolio e-mail address. If clients respond to these e-mails, the responses are directed to Zenfolio customer support.

You may choose to specify a different email address to use for these client communications. If used, any responses will also go to this address and Zenfolio Customer Support will not be sent any of your client e-mails.
 

  1. In the Dashboard, click Settings from the main menu.
  2. Click Selling from the menu on the left.
  3. Click Reply-To Email.
  4. Select Use my e-mail address. If this is chosen, clients will be replying back to the address you enter.
  5. Under e-mail address enter the email address for client communication.
  6. Click Save.

 Shopping Cart Message

There are multiple pre-sales and post-sales messages that can be displayed in the shopping cart. You may edit these messages for delayed fulfillment, vendor products, and self-fulfilled products.

The pre-sale message will display in the shopping cart on the shipping methods page. Any information that should be taken into consideration before placing an order can be displayed here.

The post-sale message will display on the confirmation page, after an order is placed. Any information that customers need to know after an order is placed can be displayed here.

  1. In the Dashboard, click Settings from the main menu.
  2. Click Selling on the menu on the left side.
  3. Select Shopping Cart Messages.

Here are the the different Shopping Cart Message sections where you can enter your message.
 

Delayed Fulfillment

This message is displayed to customers during checkout to let them know that the order has to be approved before fulfillment.

If you've enabled Order Approval, this is a great way to communicate to your clients that you will need to review all orders before they are fulfilled.

This message applies to all price lists.

Zenfolio Vendor Products

These messages are displayed in the shopping cart for orders containing products from Zenfolio partner labs.

Pre-sale message to display

This message is displayed in the Shopping Cart, on the Shipping Method selection page, before the order is placed. Any information that should be taken into consideration before placing an order can be disclosed here.

Post-sale message to display

This message is displayed in the Shopping Cart, on the Confirmation page, after an order is placed. Any information that customer needs to know after an order is placed can be specified here.

Self-fulfilled Products

These messages are displayed in the shopping cart ​for orders containing self-fulfilled products.
