Using the Theme Designer you can start from a variety of provided templates or you can create your own from scratch. You can create multiple themes and apply them to specific parts of your site. For example, you may want things to display within your site differently than on the Home page. You can use as many custom themes as you need.

- In Edit View, select Files & Resources under the Organizer
- Click on Custom Themes
- Click Create New
- Select the Start with a Template tab
- Click to highlight the theme template you would like to modify
- Click OK
Now that you have a template you can change the Style and Elements as desired
Step 1: Create a Color Scheme
As you are using a provided Template skip to Step 2
Step 2: Configure common styles shared between pages
The Styles tab allows you set the overall colors and appearance for your themes.
- Under Toolbox » Selected Element click the down pointing arrow to access the drop-down menu. Select the Element that you would like to edit. The element settings will load beneath.
- Use the drop down menus provided (if applicable) to select desired settings.
- Your changes will be reflected in the preview window to the right. Repeat 1 and 3 until satisfied.
- Click the Undo Last link in the top, right corner of the screen as needed.
- Once you are satisfied with the Style click the Save link near the top of the screen.
Note: Alternatively you can click on Elements in the Preview window to access element settings. An orange box will appear around any customizable element.
Step 3: Configure individual elements
The Elements tab allows you to customize specific page elements. Any items on a theme page that are not directly customizable in the elements tab inherit from the styles defined in the styles tab.
- Click the Elements tab at the top of the page.
- Under Toolbox » Selected Element click the down pointing arrow to access the drop-down menu. Select the Element that you would like to edit. The element settings will load beneath.
- Use the drop down menus provided (if applicable) to select desired settings.
- Your changes will be reflected in the preview window to the right. Repeat 2 and 3 until satisfied.
- Click the Undo Last link in the top, right corner of the screen as needed.
- Once you are satisfied with the Style click the Save link in the top, left corner of the screen.
