ZENFOLIO

The Site Menu is the main navigation bar on your Home page. This menu allows you to provide links to your photos, built-in pages, custom pages, etc. You can also use this menu to link to an external website such as a blog. By default this menu is pre-populated.

Access Your Site Menu

1. Go to your Edit View, Home page.
2. Locate the Show Visitor View » Customize link in the Top Menu of the Main Area.

If you are already in the Visitor View, move your mouse over the My Zenfolio View Switcher at the top of the visitor page. A menu will open with a list of items. Click to select Customize Visitor View.

The page will refresh with a new customization menu at the top and a yellow outline around the page, confirming that you are in the customization mode.

1. Click to select Site Menu.
2. The Site Menu window will appear.

Adding Menu Items

To add a new Link to a gallery, group, collection, built in page, uploaded PDF document, or external web page, follow the steps below.

1. Click Add New Item.
2. In the Menu Item title text field type your desired title..
3. Under Menu Item action click to select whether you would like the item to Link to a gallery, group, collection, built in page, uploaded PDF document, external web page. Custom pages and Home page are listed under Build-In Page.
4. Next to Link Target click Select. A pop-up menu will load with related destinations. This may change to a dropdown list depending on what Menu Item action you selected.
5. You may check "Open in a new window" to have the link appear under a new tab.
6. Check or uncheck which headers you would like this item to be Displayed on
7. Click Update. Your Menu Item will be loaded in the menu directory.
8. Click Apply to complete your changes to the site men

Adding a Drop-down Menu and Menu Items

To have one of your existing menu items set to be a drop-down menu, and add new Links within the drop-down menu, follow the steps below.

1. Click Add Drop-down Menu.
2. In the Menu Item title text field type your desired title.
3. Make sure "Show drop-down menu" is selected.
4. Check or uncheck which headers you would like this item to be Displayed on
5. Click Update Menu.

The drop-down menu must be populated with items, or the drop-down menu cannot be applied to the site menu.

1. Click Drop-down Item  from below the Drop-down title where you want the link to be placed.
2. In the Menu Item title text field type your desired title..
3. Under Menu Item action click to select whether you would like the item to Link to a gallery, group, collection, built in page, uploaded PDF document, external web page. Custom pages and Home page are listed under Build-In Page.
4. Next to Link Target click Select. A pop-up menu will load with related destinations. This may change to a dropdown list depending on what Menu Item action you selected.
5. You may check "Open in a new window" to have the link appear under a new tab.
6. Click Update. Your Menu Item will be loaded in the menu directory.
7. Your link item will be displayed under the Drop-down menu title and can be moved by dragging and dropping into the desired order.
8. Click Apply to save your changes to our site menu

Organizing Menu Items

Change the order of your Site Menu items by select the gray handle to the left side of the item title and dragging it to a new location. When you are done making your changes click Apply.

Header Menu Options

Under the Menu Options tab (configurable when Zenfolio branding is removed in Site Settings) click to select if you would like to have the Site Menu displayed in the page header or in the menu bar. As you select these options a preview is displayed on the right. Next to Menu alignment click to select Left or Right.
