When sending an email inviting a client to view a gallery, the system will automatically display the gallery's cover thumbnail in the email along with small thumbnail previews of a few of the images in the gallery.
The layout applied to the email will vary based on the orientation of the cover thumbnail.
The first image in the gallery (based on its sorting order) will be used as the cover thumbnail if no other image is specified as the cover thumbnail.

When the preview images are clicked, the visitor will be automatically directed to the gallery.
Group Invite EmailsWhen sending an email inviting a client to a group, the group's cover thumbnail will be displayed in the email as well.
By default, no cover thumbnails are assigned to new groups—the photographer is required to apply an image from their account as the cover thumbnail of the group. When no cover thumbnail is applied to the group, no preview image will appear in the email.
