Viewing comments and Guestbook Entries

With your Zenfolio website, you have the option of allowing your site visitors to leave entries in a Guestbook or to leave comments about photos.

Once comments or guestbook entries have been made you will receive an email informing you of the comment or guestbook entry.

You can view and manage comments and guestbook entries at any time.

Comments and guestbook entries can be moderated through the Dashboard. See this link for instructions on moderating comments through the Dashboard.

Viewing and Managing Photo Comments

  1. While viewing the desired image in the Quick Shop page, click on the Comments icon near the top of the page. A pop-up window will appear.
  2. In this window all comments are visible. In addition to adding your own comment, you have three options available for each comment.
    - Reply via Email - allows you to reply directly to the commenter via the email address they've submitted
    - Delete the comment - This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
    - Make Private - This changes Publicly viewable comments and makes them viewable only to you, the site owner.

Viewing and Managing Guestbook Entries

  1. From your website view, navigate to the gallery, group or collection with comments you want to view/manage. A pop-up window will appear.
  2. Click on Guestbook Entries to move to the Guestbook area at the bottom of the gallery thumbnails page. 
  3. In addition to adding your own entry, you have three options available for each comment.
    Reply via Email - allows you to reply directly to the guest via the email address they've submitted
    Delete the entry - This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
    Make Private - This changes Publicly viewable entry and makes them viewable only to you, the site owner.
